Four employees of a security company have been arrested for allegedly attempting to break into an automated teller machine

(ATM) at a petrol station in Taman Tenaga, Puchong in Kuala Lumpur, two days ago.

The suspects, aged between 25 and 35, were picked up in four separate operations at offices and public areas in Puchong yesterday afternoon.

Selangor police chief Khalid Abu Bakar said initial investigations

revealed the suspects might be skilled in ATM burglaries.

"We are working with the security company operating the machine, to facilitate investigations," he told reporters after launching a crime prevention campaign here today.

In the incident, four men had broken into the petrol station via a hole in the wall of its toilet.

Meanwhile, the charred remains of a woman were found near a jeep in Taman Tun Abdul Razak, Ampang here yesterday.

The victim had sustained 90 per cent burns.

The police, who do not suspect foul play, found a cigarette lighter and a mineral water bottle, believed to have contained kerosene, at the scene.

The car is believed to have belonged to a Belgian.
