Information Communication and Culture Deputy Minister Joseph Salang Gandum said the broadcast slot for the Murut programme will be reviewed to meet the needs of listeners.
This was to ensure that people in rural areas receive correct and effective information, he said when launching the Village Internet Centre Social Entrepreneurship Carnival in Sabah today.
Earlier, Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister's Office Raden
Malleh urged that the broadcast slot for Murut programmes be changed as it was unsuitable.
"Who would listen to the Murut programme via Sabah V FM channel at four in the morning as most will be sound asleep?"
Raden Malleh said the broadcast slot was not only of no benefit to the Murut community but also the government.
