Copies of a video tape highlighting sacked deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim's alleged homosexual activities have been found scattered around the Bandar Tun Razak area.

According to Parti Keadilan Nasional media spokesperson Raja Petra, several copies of the tape entitled " Siapa Anwar? " (Who is Anwar?) were found by Keadilan members at bus-stops and telephone booths in Bandar Tun Razak.

The documentary-style video contains visuals of doors to hotel rooms where the illicit sexual activities allegedly took place, purported recorded telephone conversations of Anwar asking Meor Hisham Abdul Razak, Wan Azizah Wan Ismail's fashion designer, for sexual favours, and Sukma Dermawan's confession of his sexual involvement with Anwar.

The Barisan Alternatif claims that this is part of the BN's bag of dirty tricks to denigrate the Opposition.

"We had anticipated that BN would distribute the tape widely during the election campaign, and we believe that they will resort to more dirty tricks in the next few days leading up to the polls," said Raja Petra.

In the past few days, the BN has intimidated that it would be releasing more information on Anwar's sex and corruption allegations to the public.

On another front, Keadilan spokesperson Rustam Sani said that the 24-hour deadline for the BN to respond to the BA's challenge to make a pledge of non-violence during the election campaign has lapsed.

"We have now written a letter directly to the Agong to seek an audience with him since there has been no response from Mahathir."
