Former PKR Ipoh Barat division chief Fauzi Muda is on a warpath, carrying out a personal vendetta to destroy the Perak PKR.

Following his resignation from PKR earlier this year, he has been organising media conferences to discredit PKR by pointing out its supposed shortcomings in Perak and claiming that party members were resigning en block.

Fauzi has not been seeing eye-to-eye with Mustaffa Kamil Ayub, who took over the leadership of the Perak PKR last year.

NONE Today was no difference. Fauzi ( left ) called a media conference to claim that four PKR Youth leaders - Parit chief Faizal Effendi Hasim, Kampar chief Rosli Abdullah, Padang Rengkas acting chief Ahmad Shahrul Zamsuri and Kuala Kangsar deputy Youth chief Adam Harris Abdullah - were quitting the party today.

He also announced the resignation of 72 PKR Wanita members, led by Siti Aminah Mansor from his former division.

Fauzi also called on the Registrar of Societies to monitor the 24 state PKR division AGMs that will be held from Sunday, claiming that many of the divisions would not have the quorum to conduct their meetings.

He also denied claims that he and former PKR Bagan Serai MP Mohsin Fadzli Samsuri (who is now an independent) had been "bought over" by Umno.

To concentrate on stengthening his NGO

He said he would not join any political party now, but would concentrate on strengthening his NGO, Team Gerakan Wawasan Rakyat Perak (Perak People's Vision Action Team), by opening up 50 branches state-wide "to expose the true colours" of PKR.

Asked why he was carrying out a personal vendetta when he had resigned from the party, Fauzi said, "My duty is to inform the public what PKR is about and expose its wrong doings."

As to what benefit he was getting from such actions, Fauzi replied, "Personal satisfaction."

Looks like Fauzi could well be a thorn in the side of Mustaffa in his bid for the party's deputy president's post in the coming elections.

Meanwhile, PKR deputy state chief Dr Lee Boon Chye said when contacted: "We have yet to conduct the party AGMs, so how can he make such a claim. He is talking utter rubbish.

"Fauzi is no longer in PKR and he has no right to comment on party matters. We are not going to entertain him."
