Vice-president Azmin Ali added one nomination, while Federal Territory PKR chief Zaid Ibrahim added two nominations, to their total tally in their bid for the deputy president contest this November.

azlan With that, Azmin has received a total of 92 nominations - the latest being from the Puchong division that met today.

Zaid, meanwhile, has inched up two rungs today with nominations from the party’s Bandar Kuching and Hulu Selangor divisions.

The former Umno-turned-PKR leader has chalked up 35 nominations so far.

A total of 38 PKR divisions meet today and tomorrow, the last week of elections for division seats and nominations for the party’s top national-level positions.

Another deputy-president candidate - Perak PKR chief Mustaffa Kamil Ayub - gets one more nomination today, making it 17 nominations total.

Batu MP Tian Chua and Selangor MB Abdul Khalid Ibrahim have five and four nominations respectively.

PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ahmad has received two nominations for deputy-president, while Kuantan MP Fuziah Salleh and Lembah Pantai parliamentarian Nurul Izzah Anwar have received one nomination each.

Puchong, Hulu Selangor, Sabak Bernam, Johor Baru and Pulai  nominated Wan Azizah to defend her position as president.

For the four positions of vice-president, the division nominated Nurul Izzah, Padang Serai parliamentarian N Gobalakrishnan, PKR Youth permanent chairperson Yahaya Shaari and Puchong PKR division leader Suresh Kumar.
