Do you think this Rahimi chap will be bothered about lawsuits? By now, the people behind him would have contacted their panel of Umno lawyers who will be ready to take on the matter and ensure that it will be heard before a friendly and favourable judge who would only rule in their favour.

We have so many judges to pick and choose from so what is there to worry about? The only way this country is going to save its institutions is to ensure that the current regime is shown the door in the next by by-election in Kelantan and at the much awaited general elections.

Lawyer Latheefa Koya said the statutory declarations which Rahimi Osman said he was forced to sign are believed to mirror his statement to the police and she also added that she cannot confirm the exact details of the police statement as it is standard procedure to not give a copy to the witness.

As this episode (like Sodomy II) seems to have been engineered by Najib Abdul Razak and Umno, the whole government machinery, which is controlled by Najib, will ensure that Rahimi is given the necessary protection. Since there is no duplicate copy of the police report, it could be altered in any way necessary by ‘Polis DiUmno Malaysia’ to show that Rahimi is not lying.

How come they are taking this Rahimi fellow seriously, when PI P Balasubramaniam was not taken seriously? We need to investigate both this fellows statutory declarations. We want the truth. Did the MACC go to UK for Bala’s interview? What happened to that episode?

Cala: If there is a ‘rule by law’, an accused will be charged because they is evidence against him. But such was not the case for ‘Sodomy I’ wherein Anwar Ibrahim was charged. So where was the evidence? Remember the 6'0'x 6'0' mattress which was brought in and out of the courtroom?

When Anwar's lawyer asked the chemist to hand over the ‘evidence’ for an independent laboratory test, guess what? The chemist had the audacity to say that all evidences had been thrown away as he thought the court would not need it. In another words, he appeared to have said: ‘Trust me, take my words for it’.

Would you now want to believe there is evidence in Sodomy II? Or any case that is related to political persecution?

Anonymous: Some ask how Mohd Saiful Azlam Bukhary and Rahimi ‘sleep at night knowing the evil they have been doing?’ People who do evil have no conscience and fill their lives with the culture of extreme greediness and even sadism. I believe people make their choices based on their sense of right and wrong.

Parents, teachers and relatives all help mould a child’s awareness or disregard for right and wrong. For example, some people will habitually use and abuse people for personal gain and their children will grow up believing it is their right to manipulate others to get what they want.

They are all around us - the mean boss who forces people to work late and on holidays; the bigotted teacher who victimizes some students; the friend who bullies others into doing things his/her way; the nasty relative who likes to spread malicious gossip; and then you have people who will lie in open court because they are getting a big pay-off. And, mind you, all these people sleep very well at night.

I can't figure out a person accused of sodomy going around the world to prove his innocence rather than in a court. Yes, he may say he is framed but so does every criminal. Let the evidence do the talking. My belief is that there is more to come from the PKR who loses. One from the inner circle will say all. R Sivarasa better know that perjury is a criminal act is libel.

This SD thing is a joke. Does it happen in other countries? Why is Malaysia a leading country when it comes to such things? PI Bala has shown the way via the unscrupulous government. And now Rahimi will and is following suit. Rahimi - are you going to be missing as well and be transported to the Middle East or Afganistan or Iraq?

I hope the PDRM will be serious with anyone about changing their SD more than once. It is easy to say that he was under duress and therefore he acted likewise. But after almost two years Rahimi is now changing his stance just like after more than a year they produced the so called written note of Teoh Beng Hock's suicide. If there is any gold medal to be given then Malaysia will be picked for it - for all the wrong reasons.

I find it hard to trust anyone now. Honesty and integrity seem woefully in short supply in this country despite the high level of religiousity.

Rahimi might have thought that BN will be there forever, running the government. What would he do if Pakatan Rakyat wins the next general election? Who will protect him from justice. With or without Anwar Ibrahim, Pakatan will win and Rahimi better have a plan B. Could his plan B be, to twist around and says that the original SD was good? Anything is possible with this thick face human being. He didn't graduate so he can't think, can he?

Maitreya: Dr Mahathir Mohamad introduced the cancerous culture of deviousness, deceit and duplicity with his dirty schemes against three deputies - but Najib Abdul Razak has made this vile form of pernicious politics the main pillar of his Umno presidency and his weak claim to prime ministership. A pox on him and his decadent house, not to mention spouse.
