Some 500 members of Perkasa and 4Justice today participated in a peaceful gathering in support of the police (PDRM) and Kuala Langat District Council (MDKL).

The gathering in front of MDKL building in Banting after Friday prayers was to support action by PDRM and MDKL in protecting the public and upholding the law.

4Justice chairman Anuar Basiran said it did not want crime to be politicised and urged Banting residents to assist police by giving information.

Perkasa youth chief Arman Azha Abu Hanifah said the residents should not blame PDRM and MDKL for what happened as they were just doing their job.

He added Perkasa and several non-governmental organisations (NGO) plan to send a protest note to the Bar Council on Oct 15 as it is not neutral.

4Justice is supporting action by PDRM in investigating the gruesome murder of cosmetics millionaire Sosilawati Lawiya and three others.
