An independent MP today alleged that DAP and PKR have forged a secret agreement, without the knowledge of their partner PAS, to give DAP control over three states should Pakatan Rakyat win in the 13th general election.
Zulkifli Nordin (Ind-Kulim Bandar Baharu) said the close ties between DAP and PKR was a result of the supposed power pact.
"I don't think my friends in PAS are aware of this...there is a private agreement that if PKR wins at the Federal level, autonomy will be given to Penang.
"Malay candidates will also be positioned in Perak and Negeri Sembilan and if they win, the menteris besar will be appointed from within DAP.
“I hope this matter will be regarded seriously," he said when debating the Supply Bill 2011 at the Dewan Rakyat.
Zulkifli also suggested that more reading material on the May 13 tragedy be made available to educate the public on the facts behind the incident.
Touching on the 1Malaysia concept, Zulkifli said he wanted the government to continue explaining the concept to the public so it would not be misinterpreted by any quarters.
He said the concept should also consist of putting the country first, so that individuals would not resort to badmouthing the country when they are abroad.
The Dewan sits again on Monday.
