The Sabah BN campaign machinery is pulling out all stops as it enters the final 48 hours of the Batu Sapi campaign, with candidate Linda Tsen Thau Lin promising to unleash a “secret weapon” to win over the 25,000-odd voters.

musa aman pc in sabah 190608 01 Sabah Chief Minister and state BN chairperson Musa Aman ( right ) said their machinery is primed and ready for the critical push to the finish line.

“We will all go down to the ground, as we don’t take things for granted. We will make sure every voter gets to cast their vote, especially our supporters... we will work until the ballot boxes are closed,” he said after hosting a media luncheon at his official residence in Sri Libaran today.

Musa said the BN is confident going into Thursday’s by-election as both the bumiputera Muslim and Chinese communities “know which party to support” to see continuity in development in Batu Sapi.

Tsen, who attended the luncheon, told journalists that she has a strategy lined up to get voters on her side but that she is keeping it close to her chest.

NONE “It’s going to be a secret. You will see tomorrow, just wait and see,” she said when pressed for details.

Tsen ( left ) brushed aside opposition allegations that she is inexperienced and will not be able to articulate issues in Parliament, saying she prefers to be more hands-on in the constituency.

“I think I’m more (about) actually getting down to the ground to work instead of talk, talk, talk... I’m sure they can speak better than me but I’m a new person, please give me a chance,” she said.

The seat was vacated by the death of her husband and BN incumbent Edmond Chong Ket Wah in a traffic accident.
