your say 'PM, if you're so original, can you explain Jakarta's '1Indonesia: Masyarakat Dahulukan Pencapaian Utamakan'?'

Najib dismisses claim 1Malaysia not original

Playfair: Mr PM, your indignation is understandable. It is like being caught with your pants down and so you responded by showing anger to hide your guilt. We remember you trying to immortalise the word ‘glocal' (with reference to Umno Malays) and very quickly it was shown to be plagiarised .

It is hard to find any instance in your whole political career where you have expressed anything original, despite being featured on the front page of a tabloid showing you browsing ‘the Blue Wave strategy'. That was a masquerade at its best.

No, Mr PM we are still waiting for something original from you other than your petty sniping of the Pakatan Rakyat parties.

Muhammad Fuad Syazwan Ramli: Prime Minister Najib Razak, if you're so original, can you explain Jakarta's '1Indonesia: Masyarakat Dahulukan Pencapaian Utamakan'?

Sentinel: Mr PM, have you not heard of the Singapore 1989 programme '1People, 1Nation, 1Singapore'? That was 21 years ago! If our national anthem is copied from the song ‘Mamula Moon', why so malu (embarassed) to admit that 1Malaysia is also copied? Why feel slighted?

Don't you think the rakyat have also been insulted likewise for being fed something stale and copied? And that they paid RM77 million to a foreign consultant firm for this recycled stuff?

Gigento: I don't care whether the 1Malaysia idea is original or not, and I don't also care if it comes from the Jews. What I do care is the outcome of this initiative. Have we actually eliminated corruption, the real ones, the so-called big fish?

I don't care about the police officers taking RM30 for letting a summon go. Are we eliminating or at least reducing cronyism? These are the things that are affecting the people. If you said people come first, please help those on the streets, not the corrupt.

Zar: What a stupid statement made by Najib. Of course, no other country has 1Malaysia. Others have used One Israel, 1Singapore, etc. How can other countries use Malaysia in their slogans? Of course, they would use their own country's name.

Yobama: If what you say is true, PM, then why did you not allow Anwar Ibrahim to come up with the proof in Parliament that the concept was copied, or that it was suggested by Apco Worldwide? Instead you suspended him and three other PKR MPs from Parliament. Are you scared that Anwar had the proof?

If Apco did not contribute to the 1Malaysia concept, why did you pay them tens of millions of ringgit to do consulting work for your government? What did they do to deserve it? Are you now saying your government did not even employ Apco?

Change agent: Najib, if you really came up with the brilliant 1Malaysia idea, then why did you have to pay Apco RM77 million? You should have paid yourself the money instead. This way, we could have kept the money within the country to stimulate our local economy.

Najibnomics or banana republic?

Neders: I have totally lost faith with the present government and its leaders. Try as I might to remain optimistic, I fear the worst for this bountiful country which is being systematically plundered with impunity. Hatred and racism rears their ugly heads ever so often, and this is by design.

My only hope is that good sense will prevail as we have been - and still are - peace-loving people. Damn these politicians who care only to remain in power to serve their own selfish interests.

Anonymous: Civil servants have become very arrogant, cunning and corrupted. It has become very difficult to deal with civil servants who have lost their sense in their greed for ill-gotten gains at the expense of taxpayers.

KJ John: It makes us wonder whither integrity is stuck between espoused theory and theory-in-use!

DPM rubbishes Pakatan's 100-day reform plan

Good job: If BN had done a good job, there won't be a PKR with it's 100-day reform pledge or a Hindraf or the WikiLeaks scandal or the subsidy cuts or the March 8, 2008 tsunami. Nor would there have been the corruption cases of Dr Mohd Khir Toyo or PFKZ or Sarawak's Abdul Taib Mahmud.

Rolls-Royce: Never mind ‘Malay first' DPM, what is 100 days of empty promises when compared with 53 years of cheating and plundering by Umno/Alliance/BN. We will give Pakatan Rakyat a chance and if they fail to deliver, we will try again to elect others until we get a government we want.

We will never give up - after all, electing a functioning and honest government is our inalienable right.

Gigento: You are right DPM, some of the reform plan by Pakatan seems ridiculous, e.g. increasing the teachers salaries, which require lots of money. Pakatan will get the extra fund by eliminating corruption and cronyism.

KSN: DPM Muhyiddin Yassin, please think before you talk. What has Umno-BN done from the time Dr Mahathir Mohamad took over as premier? It has been downhill all the way in all aspects of national life. That too with abundant and rich natural resources that we have been blessed with.

If we had a competent government minus the vices - too many to list but known all over the world - we would be a developed nation by now and the envy of all our neighbours, including Lee Kuan Yew and Singapore.
