Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara-Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd (Kesturi), concessionaire of the Duta-Ulu Klang Expressway (DUKE), today announced a 10 percent discount on toll in view of Christmas which falls on Saturday.  

DUKE general manager Ong Chee Keong said the highway users would enjoy the discount on Saturday, from 12.01am to 11.59pm, at the three DUKE toll plazas of Ayer Panas, Batu and Sentul Pasar.

The toll after discount would be RM1.80 (for class one vehicles), RM2.70 (class two), RM3.60 (class three), 90 sen (class four) and 60 sen (class five), he said in a statement.

Ong said the offer of the discount was part of DUKE's corporate social responsibility towards users of the highway.

Yesterday, Malaysian Highway Authority (LLM) director-general Ismail Md Salleh said 22 highway concessionaires would offer toll discounts and rebate of between five and 37 percent from Dec 22 to 31 in view of the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
