Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) has postponed to an indefinite date its elections scheduled for next year.
Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS) has postponed to an indefinite date its elections scheduled for next year.
The decision was made at a closed-door meeting of the party's supreme council, Wanita executive council and Youth executive council chaired by party president Joseph Kurup in Kota Kinabalu, said party secretary-general Dr Johnson Tee.
He said the elections were postponed to pave the way for the party to hold various programmes, including a massive rally in the interior, next year.
The annual divisional meetings would be held as scheduled next year, he added.
Other parties that have put off their party polls until the next general election are Umno, MCA, Gerakan and DAP. PAS however said that it would proceed with its elections.
