Police have completed investigating the case of former Selangor PKR treasurer KS Kottapan who claimed to have been assaulted by a state exco member.
Police have completed investigating the case of former Selangor PKR treasurer KS Kottapan who claimed to have been assaulted by a state exco member.
Selangor police chief Tun Hisan Tun Hamzah said the investigation paper had been sent to the deputy public prosecutor's office for further action.
Selangor exco member Dr A Xavier Jayakumar (speaking in photo) was said to have punched and kicked Kottapan at the Shah Alam City Hall on Sept 26.
Kottapan was challenging Jayakumar for the Kota Raja PKR chief's post. Both lodged police reports after the incident.
Kottapan claimed that he was punched and kicked several times, while Jayakumar denied committing such acts.
