Mitsubishi Heavy wins natural gas plant project in Terengganu
TOKYO - Japan's Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has won an eight billion yen (US$67 million) order to mordernise natural gas plants in Malaysia, a newspaper said Sunday.
Japan's largest comprehensive heavy machinery maker received the order from Petroliam National Bhd. (Petronas), Malaysia's state-run oil firm, the Nihon Keizai Shimbun said, quoting sources familiar with the deal.

Under the contract, Mitsubishi Heavy and a local construction firm plan to rehabilitate Petronas' gas plant by 2005 to extend its operational lifespan until 2025, the business daily said.
In Kerteh
The facility, located in Kerteh in the state of Terengganu on the country's east coast, refines 250 million cubic meters (8,750 cubic feet) of gas each day.
The two companies will also modernise a nearby facility that ships liquefied petroleum gas, the daily said.
Mitsubishi Heavy also intends to win contracts to modernise five other gas refinery plants run by Petronas in Kerteh, Nihon Keizai said. - AFP
