Two opposition parties today criticised Acting Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi over his handling of the Economist issue and warned that it may bode ill for his future premiership.

In separate press statements, Keadilan information chief Khalid Jaafar and DAP chairperson Lim Kit Siang both urged Abdullah to address issues raised by his critics rather than "whip up an anti-foreign media frenzy".
