The Penang Bridge will be temporarily closed for all traffic from 1am to 10am on Sunday (10 hours) in conjunction with the Penang International Bridge Run on Nov 17.

Projek Lebuhraya Usahasama Bhd (Plus) in a statement today said the bridge will be closed for traffic from 1am to 10am and reopen for traffic after 10am.

The statement added that a number of roads leading to the bridge would also be closed for the same period to prevent any disruption during the run.

Motorists entering or leaving the island are urged to use the ferry services that will be in service for 24 hours.

“Motorists must follow the signage and direction put up by Plus,” said Plus in the statement.
