COMMENT If Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah goes through with his intention, as national news agency Bernama has reported, to quit the presidency of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), the decision, following Malaysia’s 10-0 drubbing by United Arab Emirates in a World Cup qualifier, will bring to an end a 31-year dominance by Pahang royals of the national governing body for football.
