Bring it on! Arul Kanda accepts Pua's debate dare

Anonymous_3e79: 1MDB president and group executive director Arul Kanda Kandasamy knows that despite his acceptance of the dare to debate Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua, the attorney-general (AG) would never allow it to happen.

Pua should know this as well, so I don't know why he keeps badgering for the debate. DAP, focus on bringing the information to the rural voters.

That's the only way to get rid of Umno. Let the foreign courts go after Prime Minister Najib Razak. It is just a matter of time.

But the real goal is to make Umno lose the government at the general election and for a change by the opposition.

Ericlcc: Not to worry. After all, this Arul is so well-paid he cannot be seen to be anything but chicken. He has to accept, because that's what he is paid for - to defend the company. If he cannot do such a simple task, he might as well do a David Copperfield act.

Pua wants a debate with you to let the rakyat hear and decide on who is telling or hiding the truth, and why. It's a fair request.

Caripasal: Dear Arul, please come to the debate with all the necessary documents, including those foreign bank statements and the documents related to the British Virgin Islands and Singapore.

That is, the documents that show the transfer of money into the fake Aabar and other transfers. Please do not hide behind whatever laws to justify your refusal to reveal those documents.

Prudent: I think Arul is right this time. Any debate with the 1MDB management at this stage will not add value or more information in the case against 1MDB and Najib.

It will only serve to divert attention from Najib and investigation into his culpability for 1MDB and its links to the RM4.2 billion in his personal accounts.
