Police are probing a viral video depicting policemen allegedly forcing a young individual into giving a bribe, said inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar said.

"We are investigating the matter, action will be taken against the policemen responsible for this.

"We call on members of the public to come forward and shed light on the incident," Khalid told Malaysiakini .
