Citing the spirit of democracy, PKR deputy president Azmin Ali said today the formation of new political parties must be celebrated.

The Selangor menteri besar said this in response to the soon-to-be formed political party that was announced by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad last week.

However, when asked if PKR would cooperate with the new party, Azmin said it all depended on the new party’s agenda and ideologies.
