Members of the opposition have urged protests over US president Donald Trump's travel ban on seven Muslim countries.

Pakatan Harapan chief secretary Saifuddin Abdullah on Twitter urged a protest at the US Embassy this coming Friday.

"Malaysian should protest the Muslim ban because it is against religious freedom and human rights.

"Let's demonstrate in front of KL US Embassy this Friday," he tweeted.
