Bersatu Youth chief eyes RM50k prize for 'Kit Siang racist' contest
Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) Youth chief Syed Saddiq Abdul Rahman has set his eyes on the RM50,000 prize for those who can prove that DAP veteran Lim Kit Siang is a racist and anti-Islam.
“I have high hopes of getting the RM50,000. I wish to donate it to the Kelantan football team as well as to help Universiti Kuala Lumpur and Mara students,” he said in taking a swipe at Umno information chief Annuar Musa, who organised the competition.
Syed Saddiq said he is also not surprised that Annuar can afford the prize due to his previous track record with regard to the football team as well as UniKL and Mara...
Syed Saddiq said he is also not surprised that Annuar can afford the prize due to his previous track record with regard to the football team as well as UniKL and Mara.
However, the Bersatu Youth chief's essay highlighted issues involving Umno-BN and its leaders, while sarcastically blaming Lim for all of them.
Below is Syed Saddiq's essay, which was originally written in the Malay language, and posed on Facebook:
On the allegation that Lim is anti-Islam
He is the one who (allegedly) misused the Yapeim funds for orphans to play golf abroad, resulting in a lawsuit of RM20 million. Eh, this is not an Umno minister. This is Lim Kit Siang. Long Live Islam.
He is the one who headed DAP which declared an emergency in Kelantan in 1977, and seized power from PAS. Eh, this is not Umno-BN. This is Lim Kit Siang. Long Live Islam.
It was he together with DAP who increased the allocation for Islamic religious schools in Penang compared to the pro-rakyat Umno-BN (state) government (before this). Eh, my mistake. It is not Lim Kit Siang who is good. Umno-BN is good. Lim Kit Siang was just seeking cheap publicity. With Umno, we can give their intentions the benefit of doubt. With Lim Kit Siang, we cannot. Long Live Islam.
On the allegation that Lim is anti-Malay rulers
It is the party led by Lim Kit Siang which voiced concern when the National Security Council Act was passed without the Yang di-Pertuan Agong's consent. Eh, sorry. This is not Lim Kit Siang. Umno is good.
It was he who wanted to “whack” the Johor crown price when there were differences in opinion. Eh, that was not (Tourism and Culture Minister) Nazri (Abdul) Aziz. It was Lim Kit Siang.
On allegation that Lim is anti-Malay
It was him who produced the lewd movie Wolf of Wall Street which cost US$100 million and paid gambling debts in Las Vegas amounting to US$13 million with the money of Malaysians, the majority of whom are Malays. Eh, this is not Rosmah Mansor's son Riza Aziz (who was alleged to have done so in the United States Department of Justice suits related to 1MDB). This is Lim Kit Siang. Long Live the Malays.
He is the one who rejected the allocation for Mara and the Public Service Department. He is the one who rejected the allocation for public universities. He is the one who imposed GST and removed all sorts of subsidies, burdening the people with a high cost of living. When this was happening, he is the one living in the lap of luxury... [Eh, who said this is related to (Prime Minister) Najib (Abdul Razak) and Rosmah].
The corruption index is worsening? This is Lim Kit Siang's fault. 1MDB.. is Lim Kit Siang's fault. The RM100 million scandal in the Youth and Sports Ministry, the RM105 million scandal in the Sabah Water Department, the Yapeim scandal, the Mara-Australia scandal, the housing scandal in Johor and others...Whose fault are these? All these are Lim Kit Siang's fault. Long Live the Malays.
“I might disagree with Lim Kit Siang on some issues, but never will I call him an 'anti-Malay', 'anti-Islam', 'anti- Malay rulers'. He is my fellow Malaysian,” Syed Saddiq said in conclusion.
