PAS Youth chief Nik Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz has praised Dewan Rakyat speaker for his "bravery" and "grit" for allowing PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang to table a motion to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction) Act 1965.

He said the postponement of the debate on the motion was a "minor mistake" when taking into account of the fact that Abdul Hadi was allowed to table the motion.

"May Allah provide the highest reward for the Dewan Rakyat speaker for his sincerity, bravery and grit in facing the many obstacles towards the tabling of the motion.

"If postponing the debate was 'considered' a mistake, then it is only 10 percent correct, as compared to the 100 percent correctness in allowing the tabling of the motion," wrote Nik Abduh on his Facebook page today.
