MUKTAMAR | PAS Youth delegates rained fire on ally PKR today, with vice-president Rafizi Ramli and deputy president Azmin Ali among those targeted.

The first salvo was fired by Johor delegate Mohd Azlan, who took a swipe at Rafizi in prose.

"Come a million of Rafizi's slanders, (PAS) Youth remains steadfast to victory," Mohd Azlan said, adding that the wing will fight both BN and Pakatan Harapan.

The attack comes two weeks after Rafizi accused ex-PAS deputy president Nasharudin Mat Isa of receiving funds from former 1MDB subsidiary SRC International.

Selangor delegate Mohamed Sukri Omar warned the Pandan MP that he will face stiff opposition if he continues to slander PAS.

"If he is anak jantan (a man) then contest (again) in the Pandan parliamentary seat in the next general election.

"If he is a man, then be prepared to face Muslim youths whose spirit will not waver," Mohamed Sukri (photo) said.

He then warned Azmin that this may be his last term as Selangor menteri besar.

"He can mock us as lebai (pious men) ... but remember if it was not for our help, especially our aid to Pakatan Rakyat, this menteri besar may be sitting in his last term," the Selangor PAS Youth exco member said.

Azmin had made the jibe about lebai after outgoing PAS Youth chief Nik Abduh Nik Mat voiced aspirations for the Islamist party to capture Selangor.

Selangor PAS Youth, Mohamed Sukri said, had unanimously agreed on a motion to demand that PAS sever ties with PKR.

Another PKR target at the PAS Youth muktamar was Penang religious state exco Abdul Malik Kassim.

Penang PAS Youth delegate Muhammad Hafiz Alias Al-Baghoni accused Abdul Malik of not defending Muslims in the state despite having been voted in as Batu Maung assemblyperson by Muslims.

Penang PAS has already severed ties with PKR in the state.

The PAS Ulama wing yesterday unanimously passed a motion calling for an end to political cooperation with PKR.

Such a decision can only be made by PAS' syura council.
