Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali said he was not privy to an audit by the Selangor Treasury against PKR MPs.

Azmin said this when asked to respond to Kelana Jaya MP Wong Chen's complaint about the manner in which the Selangor Treasury audited his allocations, claiming that it was "without due process and natural justice".

"I don't know about that because it is not my duty to interfere in the process by the audit department.

"There I leave it to the audit department to look into the matter. We do not interfere as the audit department is an independent body," he told journalists in Shah Alam today.

Wong Chen yesterday went public about the audit and provided a point-by-point rebuttal after he claimed the audit was done without obtaining documents from or a visit to his office.

Wong Chen said he had also briefed Azmin on the matter.

Meanwhile, Pandan MP Rafizi Ramli today claimed his fellow Kapar MP G Manivannan had also faced an audit by the Selangor government.

However, Manivannan declined to confirm the matter, calling it an "internal matter" and that he would check on it.

Selangor elected representatives are given RM250,000 in annual allocation for their constituencies by the state government.
