Khalid: I've done my best and I've no unfinished business

Outgoing inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar proudly declared today that he has done his best in his 41 years of service in the police force.

"And there is no unfinished business that I need to settle," Khalid in his speech at the handing over ceremony for the post of the top cop in Kuala Lumpur today.

Khalid said he would continue to serve alongside the police force, "in my own way, as long as I live".

On his successor, Special Branch chief Mohamad Fuzi Harun who replaces him as inspector-general of police, Khalid expressed confidence that Fuzi will bring the police force to success...
