Popular online gaming marketplace Steam will be unblocked by the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) after the portal agreed to stop downloads of the game "Fight of Gods" in Malaysia.

"The MCMC is committed to protecting the interest of (internet) users in Malaysia, and will not compromise with any quarter that defiles religions and peace of the various races in this country," it added in a statement this morning.
