Former Malaysia Airlines (MAS) CEO Peter Bellew's resignation from the company should not have come as a surprise, at least for Khazanah Nasional Bhd and MAS.

This is because Bellew had handed in his resignation letter to Khazanah on Oct 8.

Asked why MAS did not make a statement the very next day on his departure, Bellew said: "I think because they tried everything in their power to get me to stay"...
