Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad issued a notice of demand to the Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) into Bank Negara Malaysia's forex losses in the 1990s, demanding that his submission and evidence be included in its report or face legal action.

Harapan Youth had considered PKR deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali as a possible prime ministerial candidate before settling on Mahathir.

Johor MB speaks up on kickbacks allegation

Johor Menteri Besar Mohamed Khaled Nordin denied receiving kickbacks from developers for the conversion of land in the state.

Johor Harapan leaders demanded a royal commission of inquiry into the claims against Khaled and held up "JO1" placards.

MACC chief Dzulkifli Ahmad denied taking instructions from Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak to investigate any individual.

Dzulkifli also said that the people should ask his predecessors why they had failed to probe Parti Warisan Bersatu Sabah president Shafie Apdal earlier.
