The first Parliament session for this year is scheduled to commence on July 16 and the Dewan Rakyat will sit for 20 days, said Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
The session will see the introduction of bills to abolish GST and the Anti-Fake News Act 2018.
"There will be amendments to other laws (as well)," Mahathir told a press conference in Putrajaya this afternoon after chairing the weekly cabinet meeting.
Asked for his opinion on the anti-fake news law, the prime minister said the law was restrictive and "draconian".
Abolishing the GST and Anti-Fake News Act was among Pakatan Harapan's election promises.
The GST will be replaced with the sales and services tax (SST) which will be re-implemented on Sept 1.
