A man walked on the LRT track between Pusat Bandar Puchong and IOI Puchong Jaya stations for about 30 metres before being fatally hit by a train.&nbsp;

Police said the man was found sprawled on the track with a head injury at about 7.50am today.

Serdang police chief Ismadi Borhan said police ruled out foul play in the incident, classifying the case as sudden death.

&quot;Closed-circuit television showed that the victim alighted the train (at Pusat Bandar Puchong station) and walked towards the no-entry zone.

&quot;He then climbed the fence and continued walking on the track.&quot;

Police are in the midst of ascertaining the victim&#39;s identity as he was found without identification documents.

Ismadi said the victim had been sent to Serdang Hospital for a post-mortem.

In a statement, Prasarana said, based on the CCTV finding, the man had intruded into the area when the station ceased its operations at 12.30am.

It said his body was spotted by the train captain this morning.

&quot;The finding of the body had affected the train operation of the Sri Petaling Line as the electricity was temporarily cut to enable police to remove the body from the location.&quot;

It said operations resumed at 9am.
