Anak risau Najib akan bermalam di penjara esok

Anak perempuan Datuk Seri Najib Razak menyatakan rasa bimbang terhadap prosiding mahkamah membabitkan bekas perdana menteri itu yang dijadualkan jam 3 petang esok.

Bercakap kepada Malaysiakini, Nooryana Najwa berkata keadaan tersebut boleh mengakibatkan bapanya bermalam lagi di lokap penjara.

"Mereka menetapkan pendengaran jam 3 petang. Apabila ikat jamin dikeluarkan, pendaftar mahkamah dan bank telah ditutup.

"Jadi kami tak akan dapat bayar wang jaminan.

"Oleh itu, dia mungkin perlu bermalam lagi dalam tahanan sehingga wang ikat jamin dibayar," kata Nooryana Najwa kepada Malaysiakini.

Najib dijangka didakwa pada pukul 3 petang di Mahkamah Tinggi Kuala Lumpur esok berhubung kes kemasukan RM2.6 bilion dalam akaun bank peribadinya.

Trdahulu, pihak berkuasa menahan Najib dan beliau dijangka bermalam dalam lokap Suruhanjaya Pencegahan Rasuah Malaysia (SPRM) malam ini.

Bekas presiden Umno itu dijangka menghadapi pelbagai pertuduhan berkaitan pengubahan wang haram.

Dalam hantaran di Instagram, Nooryana, yang kini berada di Amerika Syarikat, menceritakan beliau dimaklumkan oleh adiknya, Ashman mengenai penahanan bapa mereka.
