PD POLLS | Independent candidate for the Port Dickson by-election Mohd Saiful Azlan Bukhari is appealing for public donations to help fund his campaign.

"To achieve my agenda to stabilise our beloved Malaysia, I need you to be with me.

"I humbly plead to all Malaysians and corporate entities, I admit, I need funds and financial support to make this campaign easier.

"Give as much as you are willing to, even if it is RM1, it will be very meaningful to carrying out this struggle," he said at a press conference in Port Dickson today.

Saiful said he has not been able to put up posters and banners due to financial constraints.

He also welcomed any volunteers who wanted to help with his campaign.

The 33-year-old is going up against six other candidates in the by-election, including his former boss Anwar Ibrahim, who was convicted for sodomising him.,

Saiful, however, pledged not to indulge in mudslinging or dredging up the past with regard to the sodomy allegation.
