The wife of former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak, Rosmah Mansor, arrived at the MACC headquarters at 11.40am today to facilitate a corruption investigation into a government solar hybrid project.

She arrived in a heavily tinted black Proton Perdana V6, which was driven straight into the basement of the anti-graft agency's premises in Putrajaya Precinct 8.

A spokesperson for MACC confirmed this.

Rosmah was accompanied today by lawyer K Kumaraendran (photo), who arrived earlier in a separate car.

It was reported that MACC had summoned Rosmah and her former aide Rizal Mansor again today for questioning, as investigators are working to wrap up their probe into the RM1.25 billion project, which was meant to supply electricity to 369 schools in the rural areas of Sarawak.

However, sources close to the investigation told Malaysiakini that Rizal would not appear at MACC headquarters today as they have finished recording his statement.

"We only served Rizal with an order to appear in court tomorrow, as MACC has remanded and questioned him (over the case) before this," said the source.

Sources had earlier told Malaysiakini that Rosmah and Rizal (photo) would be facing several charges at Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Thursday on the project.

Rosmah, according to a source, might face arrest today and may be taken to court tomorrow.

Besides Rosmah, MACC has also summoned Putrajaya MP Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor to come today.

Sources said Tengku Adnan was being sought to facilitate investigation into land deals involving Kuala Lumpur City Hall.

He is expected to arrive by 2.30pm today.
