There will be no cabinet reshuffle any time soon, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said today.
"Sorry, no cabinet reshuffle, so no chance for you," he quipped when asked by a reporter about any potential shake-up.

"Sorry, no cabinet reshuffle, so no chance for you," he quipped when asked by a reporter about any potential shake-up.
Mahathir was speaking at a press conference at the Bersatu headquarters in Petaling Jaya.
He was flanked by Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, along with a number of other ministers.
Speculation of a possible cabinet reshuffle first surfaced in mid-November, with Mahathir reportedly saying that he would be open to the idea following the conclusion of PKR's internal elections.
Just two days later, however, he insisted that there were no plans for a reshuffle, as his cabinet was just six months old.
The performances of several cabinet ministers have come under flak since Harapan assumed federal power, most notably Minister in the Prime Minister's Department in charge of unity P Waythamoorthy and Education Minister Maszlee Malik.
Waythamoorthy courted controversy over his address to Parliament on Putrajaya's initial plan to ratify the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (Icerd), as well as how he handled the Seafield temple riots.
Meanwhile, Maszlee has also been repeatedly received backlash over his many policy pronouncements, particularly over mandatory black school shoes and the use of hotel pools for swimming lessons.
