PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and his wife Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail today visited Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali, who is recovering after surgery.
Party information chief Shamsul Iskandar Mohd Akin told Malaysiakini he was also present at Azmin's house this afternoon, a day after the Gombak MP was discharged from the hospital.
"I arrived at 11.30am, while Wan Azizah and Anwar arrived at noon.
"We asked him how he was... the doctor gave him one month's medical leave. He had gallbladder stones," said the Hang Tuah Jaya MP.
A blog post on Monday had speculated that Azmin could be appointed deputy prime minister in a post-Chinese New Year cabinet reshuffle.

However, Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad today dismissed the speculation as "fake news."
Earlier today, Anwar, Wan Azizah and Selangor Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari were among Harapan leaders who attended a Chinese New Year function, jointly hosted by National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng.
