UPDATED | Two more PAS leaders, including the party’s spiritual leader Hashim Jasin, have given statements to MACC investigators today in relation to the commission's probes concerning the party.

They were summoned to facilitate investigations into the RM90 million allegedly channelled by Umno to PAS.

Hashim gave his statement at the MACC’s office in Perlis after arriving there at 9.45 am.

PAS executive council member Nasir Daud gave his statement at the Kelantan MACC office in Kota Bharu, arriving there at 9.40 am and leaving about an hour later.

He told reporters that he was questioned by two MACC officers and that he had extended his cooperation to them.

It was reported yesterday that MACC had recorded a statement from PAS secretary-general Takiyuddin Hassan to facilitate their probe into the claim.

Yesterday, sources also told Malaysiakini that the anti-graft body had seized a number of assets from certain PAS leaders in relation to the investigation.

This, however, had since been denied by Takiyuddin, who claimed that the seizure of luxury cars and bank accounts freezes was not related to PAS or its leaders.
