Wee: Najib-led board advises but BN supreme council has final say
MCA president Wee Ka Siong said the BN advisory board led by former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak may give its views but it is the BN supreme council that will have the final say.
"People are confused about who is the leader. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is still the BN chairperson and Mohamad Hasan is still the BN deputy chairperson.
"It is just a board, not a position given to a person... After this, other people may also be appointed as advisers," he told a press conference at the MCA headquarters today...

Wee was asked about Najib's appointment to lead the advisory board despite facing 42 charges of criminal breach of trust, money laundering and abuse and power.
Asked specifically on Najib's ability to advise amid the criminal charges, Wee declined to elaborate.
"I don't comment on personal matters," he said.
Najib's appointment, with consensus from Umno, MIC and MCA, was announced on July 9.
The announcement came two weeks after Zahid, who is also facing 87 graft-related charges, returned to active duty as Umno president and BN chairperson.
Both Najib and Zahid have denied wrongdoing.
Wee said MCA's representative on the BN advisory board will be decided later.
