Come back for your parents' sake, Muhyiddin tells outstation voters

"If they don't come back they will also be at a loss as voting is their right.
"They also have to go back to their hometown (eventually) and if the wrong candidate is chosen, the problems faced by their parents may not be resolved.
"It is important for them to come back to vote," he said.
Muhyiddin was speaking at a press conference at the Pekan Nanas police station today.
Earlier, Muhyiddin together with Harapan candidate Karmaine Sardini and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Department Hanipa Maidin had evening tea with the officers stationed there.
Muhyiddin said he was not there to campaign, but rather only to explain the government's policies.
He also made the same appeal he made with Chinese voters previously, that is to give the government more time.
At the press conference, Muhyiddin said police officers have a right to vote for whomever they please.
Muhyiddin added voters must be well-informed and stressed the government is committed to reforms that while can't be seen from a monetary standpoint, would ensure better freedoms for the people.
