Muhyiddin calls on Harapan leaders to stop fighting, focus on people's welfare
Pakatan Harapan deputy president Muhyiddin Yassin is calling on leaders in Harapan component parties to immediately find solutions to disagreements and stop any infighting.
Muhyiddin was responding to the media's request to comment on the rift between PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy president Azmin Ali.
"I don't want to quote (refer to) any leader ... but the best thing now is to forget about the feud, find the best solution, create cooperation and unity which will help us to effectively look into the people's welfare...

Muhyiddin was responding to the media's request to comment on the rift between PKR president Anwar Ibrahim and his deputy president Azmin Ali.
"I don't want to quote (refer to) any leader [...] but the best thing now is to forget about the feud, find the best solution, create cooperation and unity which will help us to effectively look into the people's welfare," he told the media in Putrajaya today.
The Bersatu president said that it's best to find a solution as soon as possible to end internal problems within a party.
"As a leader in Harapan, not only me, but all of us (in the coalition) share the same sentiment which that it is best not to have internal problems in a party or among component parties.
"If a problem arises, it's better to find a solution soonest because people are also looking at us.
"They want to see our work, not see us fighting each other," he said.
Muhyiddin noted that while the government had started a lot of initiatives to improve the people's welfare and provide job opportunities, they had yet to reach a satisfying level.
The rift between Anwar and Azmin has yet to be solved and continued after the curtains fell on the PKR national congress last weekend.
During the congress on Saturday, Azmin and several central leadership council (MPP) members aligned to him staged a walkout over unhappiness concerning the speeches made by party delegates targeting Azmin.
Anwar and Azmin were supposed to have agreed on a ceasefire during the congress but the latter claimed that the former and his faction had breached the agreement which led them to walk out of the congress.
“The hopes of delegates and observers for the president’s policy speech to focus on policies and a direction that were inclusive and progressive faltered.
“The president’s speech which started with the classical tale of Si Kitol and Raja Mendeliar clearly opened the path for debaters to launch personal attacks and make allegations towards other leaders,” Azmin had said.
Si Kitol and Raja Mendeliar are historical characters who were blamed for betraying the Malacca sultanate to the Portuguese in 1511.
On Sunday, Azmin's faction and supporters gathered at the Renaissance Hotel in Kuala Lumpur where the leaders criticised Anwar and his faction in their speeches.
Around 2,000 people attended the dinner event dubbed "Shared Prosperity Vision 2030".
Meanwhile, when asked about the forensics analysis on a sex video implicating Azmin, Muhyiddin, who is Home Affairs Minister, said he has yet to obtain the latest update from the police.
"I have yet to get the latest update [...] I need to ask the IGP," he said.
Asked if it will be possible for local authorities to obtain the findings before the end of the year, Muhyiddin said: "It doesn't matter if the findings are obtained before the end of the year or early 2020."
For the record, police have sent a sex video implicating the economic affairs minister to a university in the US for analysis.
Federal CID chief Huzir Mohamed had said that police were expecting to obtain the findings before the end of the year.
