Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak was unable to resist a couple of sarcastic posts about Pakatan Harapan assemblypersons who held functions to officiate the launches of a lift and traffic light respectively.

Fresh from a round of posts challenging the Harapan government on issues such as GST and the sale of assets, the Pekan MP decided to make things a little more light-hearted.

"Nampaknya PH sangat happy buat majlis merasmikan lif." - (It looks as if Harapan is very happy to host a lift officiating ceremony), Najib (photo) said in reference to Seri Setia assemblyperson Halimey Abu Bakar who was the guest of honour at such a ceremony in Taman Desaria.

Nor did Bayan Lepas representative Azrul Mahathir Aziz escape Najib's gleeful attention.

The latter was officiating traffic lights at a pedestrian walk near Sekolah Kebangsan Teluk Kumbar.

"Alhamdullilah!" posted Najib, who questioned if it was the season of officiating ceremonies for lifts and traffic lights.
