Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin, on behalf of the people, has conveyed their congratulations to Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah for His Majesty's official birthday.

Muhyiddin also offered well wishes (doa) for the Agong, Her Majesty Tunku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah and the royal family.

“We pray that Your Majesty will be given the strength and blessing to continue to remain on the throne with great dignity, sovereignty and prosperity,’’ he said via his Twitter and Facebook yesterday. 

“I also pray to Allah that His Majesty, Her Majesty and members of the royal family are always in his protection and blessing, be given longevity and are always in good health,’’ he said.

“Dirgahayu Tuanku, Daulat Tuanku. Menjunjung kasih Tuanku,” he said.

Meanwhile in Kota Baru, the Kelantan government also conveyed its congratulations to the Agong. 

Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob said may Allah guide His Majesty, as the head of the nation and a symbol of the sovereignty of Islam as the official religion of the federation, to shelter the people and national unity in the plural society with greatness and glory for the nation.

‘’We pray to Allah so that Their Majesties be given longevity and good health,’’ he said in a statement last night.
