Waiting for return of tourists to Sabah

With the natural wonder that is Mount Kinabalu, marvellous beaches and a mysterious interior teeming with plant and animal life, Sabah has always had a lot of diverse attractions to offer tourists.

Many industries have even come to depend on tourist money to survive and it hasn't been easy coping with the fact that Sabah has closed its doors to foreign visitors to contain the Covid-19 pandemic.

The implementation of the movement control order (MCO) has helped flatten the curve in terms of fatalities and cases, but the limitation of activities has meant many are losing their jobs.

Nonetheless, the fishing trade is still a critical element of life and...
