Nearly 5,000 Sabahans apply for assistance to return for polling day

SABAH POLLS | An initiative that aims at helping Sabahans who live in the peninsula to return for this Sept 26 polling has received nearly 5,000 applications so far, according to its coordinator.

Aaron Denison (above) said the majority of the applicants are students.

However, the campaign has the means to assist only 10 percent of the number.

"Some 3,500 applicants are students. Our target remains 500, although it would be great if we had the means to help more people," he said, as quoted by...
