MOE: Klang Valley schools to reopen on Nov 9
All schools, kindergartens, colleges and teacher training centres in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have to remain closed until Nov 9.
The order was issued by the Education Ministry in view of Putrajaya's decision to extend the conditional movement control order (MCO) for these territories for another two weeks starting tomorrow.

"The administrators of schools and educational institutions are instructed to ensure that teachers and students continue home-based learning.
"The manual for home-based learning can be obtained at the MOE website," said the ministry in a statement today.
The three territories were placed under conditional MCO since Oct 14 following a rise in Covid-19 cases.
Schooling in Sabah is also currently being suspended due to conditional MCO, which is also set to expire on Nov 9.
Malaysia set new records today after reporting 9,744 active Covid-19 cases and 1,240 new cases as of noon.
As of yesterday, most of the active cases (6,525) were reported in Sabah.
The territory has recorded 105 deaths attributed to Covid-19, of which 92 were reported this month alone.
