Check if your AstraZeneca vaccine appointment was retimed
The first dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is set to be administered tomorrow but those who have already received their appointment may want to double-check the timing.
This was after some who received their appointments complained yesterday that they were retimed.

The first dose of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine is set to be administered tomorrow but those who have already received their appointment may want to double-check the timing.
This was after some who received their appointments complained yesterday that they were retimed.
Malaysiakini reached out to Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Khairy Jamaluddin’s office which explained the retiming only affects a small section of prospective recipients.
Specifically, Khairy's office said the retiming affected those who have their appointments tomorrow (May 5) at Universiti Malaya in Petaling Jaya and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in Bangi.
The office said it was not a systemic problem and no more changes have been made since.
It added those who had their appointments retimed should also receive notification on the MySejahtera app.
However, some of those who had their appointments retimed said they didn’t receive any notification.
Other users on Twitter have also reported that appointments beyond May 5 are also being retimed.
“If you have registered for the AstraZeneca vaccine. Do check the time for vaccination in MySejahtera app from time to time.
“They just changed mine in the app. No text message. No push notifications,” said Samantha Chong, the former aide to the late de facto law minister Liew Vui Keong.
Boo Su Lyn, the editor-in-chief of healthcare news portal CodeBlue, faced a similar issue.
“Checked MySejahtera and found out that my AstraZeneca vaccination appointment was moved up from 9pm to 4pm, but on the same day - May 5.
“I didn’t get any notification on the change,” she said on Twitter.
Another Twitter user said he only found out after reading Boo’s tweet.
“Thank God I saw Boo’s tweet! Mine got retimed from 11am to 10am,” he said.
Even though an app developer may have sent a push notification, whether a user receives it depends on a myriad of factors.
This includes phone settings, network issues and device-specific bugs.
Meanwhile, some Twitter users have also reported that their appointments after May 5 were also retimed.
"My Mom's is May 24 in Shah Alam - moved from 9.30am to 10am. Got notification though," said Twitter user Joe Lee.
Another Twitter user who goes by the handle @RangerKarl said: "Looks like JKJAV rescheduled me from May 25 to May 31. It's fine, just a bit confused".
Those who will be receiving their first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine tomorrow are advised to double-check their appointment time.
