DAP man is fourth candidate hit by campaign setback due to Covid-19
DAP's Pekan Nanas candidate Yeo Tung Siong is the fourth election candidate in the Johor polls to come down with Covid-19.
Yeo, in a Facebook post, said he had administered an antigen rapid test-kit yesterday morning which showed he was negative for Covid-19 but started feeling ill by evening.

Yeo, in a Facebook post, said he had administered an antigen rapid test-kit yesterday morning which showed he was negative for Covid-19 but started feeling ill by evening.
The incumbent assemblyperson said he then underwent a reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test and self-isolated pending the results.
Yeo added that he had also cancelled his scheduled visit to a few warungs.
"Since morning, I have remained at home. at 6pm today, the results came back positive," he said in a statement.
Yeo said he apologised for the inconvenience he has caused and will be contacting people who have come in close contact with him to get tested.
As a precaution, Yeo said his campaign team are also undertaking self-test and will self-isolate.
"We are cancelling all campaign activities including the live stream tonight and the ceramah tomorrow," he said.
Yeo said he is only suffering from mild symptoms as he is fully vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.
"For those who have yet to get the vaccine, I urge everyone to do so now," he said.
Earlier today, BN's Penggaram candidate Ter Hwa Kwong also revealed he was tested positive for Covid-19 and will undergo quarantine.
On Feb 27, PKR's Bukit Batu candidate Chiong Sen Sern also confirmed he was infected with the Sars-CoV-2 virus.
A day earlier (Feb 26), which was nomination day, PKR's Gambir candidate Naim Jusri learnt he was Covid-19 positive upon arriving at the nomination centre.
Becoming infected means the candidates will have to quarantine for seven days, which is half of the 14-day campaign period.
