Equal seat allocation among Amanah, PKR in Terengganu

Terengganu Pakatan Harapan has set an equal distribution of seats among Amanah and PKR for the 15th general election (GE15).

Its chairperson Raja Kamarul Bahrin Shah Raja Ahmad said Amanah and PKR will contest four parliamentary seats each.

Amanah:

1. Kuala Nerus

2. Marang

3. Besut

4. Kuala Terengganu

PKR:

1. Dungun

2. Kemaman

3. Setiu

4. Hulu Terengganu

“We distribute eight parliamentary seats equally among Amanah and PKR... without DAP, but we are still waiting for the final decision from the Harapan presidential council,” he said at the launching of the Kuala Terengganu Harapan election machinery last night.

Raja Kamarul said though Terengganu Harapan is considered less influential, it can spring a surprise in four seats.

“We are confident that we will have a chance in Kuala Terengganu, Kuala Nerus, Kemaman, and maybe even Dungun,” he said. Raja Kamarul is expected to contest the Kuala Terengganu seat.
