Agus reveals 'Mr H' identity to police

Former Community Communications Department (J-Kom) director-general Mohammad Agus Yusoff has revealed the identity of his purported blackmailer - “Mr H” - to the police.

However, he remained tight-lipped when met by the media after giving his statement at the Kajang district police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur today.

"The questions (from police) were about the probe, and what's clear is that I have revealed who Mr H is (to police)," he told reporters.

Last week, a video of Agus (above) and J-Kom assistant officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir Jilani allegedly discussing lewd acts with each other went viral.

On Friday, the duo claimed Mr H had set them up and that the video was doctored.

The following day, J-Kom training and education division director Muhamad Hakim Ramlee - who was implicated as Mr H by blogger Raja Petra Kamarudin - denied being the blackmailer.

Leaked report

Agus said he had also lodged a police report against Raja Petra.

This is on the leak of his initial police report over the video.

"(The leak) revealed personal details and endangered myself and my family," he added.

Earlier, Agus’ lawyer Faizal Rahman took issue with the police over the leaked police report.

"This case was classified as a classified crime, so why was the police report leaked?

"What's clear is that this is not our copy... police have to be responsible for this," Faizal told reporters.

The police report contained the same allegations Agus made at his press conference on Friday, including that an individual had approached him early last week, and showed him the video in question.

The individual then told him to either quit or go on leave as J-Kom director-general.

Agus tendered his resignation on Thursday.
