Delegates of the inaugural Bersatu Alliance Wing convention have called for the resignation of its chief, Dr Chong Fat Full.

When Chong (above) began delivering his speech, some delegates were seen holding up pieces of paper that read, “Letak Jawatan Chong Fat Full, bertanggungjawab kekalahan semua calon sayap bersekutu PRU15 dan PRN6 Ramai Hilang Deposit”.

(Resign, Chong Fat Full, take responsibility for the defeat of all alliance wing candidates in GE15 and state election, many lost deposits).

The incident was witnessed by Bersatu secretary-general Hamzah Zainudin and its supreme council member Saifuddin Abdullah.

The three-day Bersatu annual general assembly that kicked off today saw the simultaneous opening of its Women, Youth and Alliance wing assemblies.
